The position is for a special education instructional assistant at Greensburg Elementary School.

The candidate should be committed to supporting students with moderate disabilities in their academic, life skills, and executive functioning activities, while also providing inclusion support within the general education environment. The candidate will report to the students' teacher of record and may be responsible for collecting additional data as needed.

Job Requirements:

1. Assist students in our life skills classroom settings.

2. Assist students with classroom routines, procedures, and functional academics.

3. Respect student and school confidentiality.

4. Under the special education teacher's direction, gather data on goal progress and behaviors.

Job Qualifications:

Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with experience in effectively engaging with a diverse student population.

This position is a 29-hour work week, starting pay $15.00 per hour. The candidate must be willing to complete an expanded criminal history background check.
